Report Local News to the Editor
You can be a reporter! Kindly READ and OBSERVE the following; then use our simple FORM to send us your news.

Text

The body of your report must be plain text. Do not include formatting or "smart" characters like quotes and long dashes; they do not work on the web, and we will not transcribe them. Use spelling and grammar checking, please; we will not spend time correcting your work.

The best technique is to type your text into a text processor with all formatting turned off. This will generate plain ASCII text in most cases.

You can become a regular contributor. New features are coming; watch the site for details.

Graphics

One graphic may accompany your report.

Prepare your graphic at "medium" quality as defined in your graphic processing program. Save it at 72px/in in JPEG format.

Upload your graphic to a server from which we can preview and download it. Type or paste the URL of the file in the Reference field in the submission form linked above. Do not type the URL in the other fields in the form, as this may cause an error.

Publishing Schedule

We attempt to review submissions promptly during regular business hours. Weekends and holidays will delay processing.

Verification

We reserve the right to verify all submissions. You must provide your telephone number and email address, which we will verify, so be sure the contact data you provide is active and accessible.

We may contact persons identified in your submission to verify information you provide.

You will be identified as the source of the information you provide. An indirect email form may be linked to your name, but your email and telephone will not be published on the site.

Copyright

All submissions become the property of Clark Internet Publishing Inc. If your submission includes copyrighted material or references thereto, you must provide notice. Failure to provide notice may expose you to accusation of plagiarism and/or copyright infringement.
